Accused child rapist found guilty, sentenced to life

ALife without parole was the sentence issued by Circuit Judge David Reynolds Friday at the end of a two-day trial of a man now found guilty of raping his 7-year-old daughter.

The defendant accused of bringing the girl into the bedroom of his Greenbrier home to watch he and his wife have sex before compelling the girl to perform sexual acts showed little emotion as the verdict was read.

The Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children (CASA) advocate assigned to the young victim wept openly at the end of a tense trial that included graphic and disturbing testimonies from three of the defendant's alleged victims and the mother of his daughter.

Cameron man gets 50 years for child porn

A Cameron, Mo., man was sentenced Wednesday to 50 years in a federal prison after being convicted of producing child pornography.

U.S. District Judge Nanette K. Laughrey sentenced William S. Price, 45, to 50 years in federal prison without parole.

Mr. Price, formerly a nursing supervisor at the Missouri State Veterans Home, received the maximum possible consecutive sentence of 30 years in prison for producing child pornography and 20 years in prison for receiving child pornography.

The court also ordered Mr. Price to pay $271,675 in restitution to the victim. The charges stem from Mr. Price repeatedly drugging a minor in his custody. After she was unconscious, Mr. Price videotaped himself molesting and raping her.

“This case is a tragic reminder that, behind every image or video of child pornography that’s downloaded over the Internet, there is a very real victim who was sexually assaulted in order to feed a perverse black market,” said John Wood, U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Missouri.

More Kids May Be Victims Of Accused Rapist

Parma police are looking for children who may have been victims of a man officers arrested on rape charges.

Parma investigators said they think Richard Geiger may have been involved with more than one child. Officers took the 63-year-old into custody earlier this week.

A 14-year-old boy told his mother that Geiger assaulted him at his Broadview Road apartment. Police said Geiger picked the boy up, showed him pornography and then attacked him sexually.

The suspect was charged with one count of rape.

This isn't the first time Geiger has been investigated. Police said he served time for gross sexual imposition after an arrest in 1981.

Serial Child Killer Executed

One of Japan's most notorious serial killers, who murdered and mutilated four young girls and reportedly drank the blood of one of his victims, was executed Tuesday along with two convicted murders.

Tsutomu Miyazaki, 45, whose grisly killings of the girls, ages 4 to 7, in the late 1980s triggered calls for tighter restrictions on violent pornographic videos, was hanged at a detention center in Tokyo.

He burned the body of a 4-year-old and left her bones on her parents' doorstep. He also wrote letters to the media and victims' families taunting police. Japanese newspaper reports said he ate part of the hand of one of his victims and drank her blood. Miyazaki also was convicted of the abduction and sexual assault of a fifth girl.

Sexual Predator Ordered To Pay Thousands to Victims

Psychiatrist Engaged In Kissing, Fondling, Masturbation And Oral Sex With Teenage Female Patients In His Vancouver, British Columbia Office.

According to Court documents filed recently, psychiatrist Richard Golden has been ordered to pay more than 150,000 dollars in compensation which is to be shared with two of the three teenage girls who the doctor sexually assaulted during the years from 2000 to 2005.

Dr. Golden the child psychiatrist has already been stripped of his license to practice and was labeled a sexual predator by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia after they found him guilty of sexual relations with the other young female patients.

A Center Point man is in the Jefferson County jail for computer crimes and identity theft.

Jefferson County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Gary Steven Bales are executing a search warrant at his residence on Hillcrest Road.

Bales, who is a registered sex offender from California, is accused of accessing email accounts of his victim's immediate family to send harassing messages.

Investigators say he also committed Identity Theft by posing as the victim's family members and using their online accounts, such as MySpace, etc.
Sheriff's investigators say they recovered evidence of the alleged crimes after an extensive examination of Bales' computers.

Bales is jailed on a total of $300,000 bond
