Child molester decries sentence in Fayette

Whaaaa, cry me a river pervert!

A convicted child molester who was sentenced Wednesday to 14 to 40 years in prison told the judge he might as well have handed him a life sentence.

"That's life," lamented Raymond Edward Addis following his sentencing yesterday before Fayette County Judge Ralph Warman. "Forty years is life."

A jury convicted Addis, 48, of South Park, Allegheny County, of 23 counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, indecent assault and corruption of minors. Testimony during his May trial showed that Addis sexually assaulted five girls and a boy between October 2006 and July 2007 at locations in Fayette, Allegheny and Adams counties.
