I was over reading Lost in Lima Ohio's blog and she has the story of little Andrew Burd.
This story is chilling to say the least. Little Andrew Burd thought he was going to be adopted by a wonderful christian woman, Hannah Overton. But Hanna Overton turned out to be not so wonderful, in fact deadly.

Thank you for posting your article on Hannah Overton and the Free Hannah Overton movement. It is terrifying that Hannah Overton's "church" would try to profit and get "donations" from naive individuals. Hannah Overton waited over an hour to help Andrew, who was not just experiencing flu like symptoms, but who was drifting in and out of consciousness, gasping to breathe and in shock. Hannah Overton was a LV Nurse and KNEW he needed help, but she didn't want to call 911 because Andrew Burd was covered with bruises and scratches because she had forced him to stay for hours on exterior plywood. She also burned his favorite belongings and failed to take him to the Doctor when he had a festering staph infection on his arm. Thank you for taking up for little Andrew, an innocent 4 year old child.
Thank you for taking up for Andrew Burd. Free Hannah Overton supporters have come up with excuse after excuse for the terrible injuries to Andrew. The blunt force trauma to the top of Andrew's head was NOT from sodium poisoning. At trial, the medical examiner explained in great detail how this wound was different from the other places in Andrew's brain where he was bleeding from salt poisoning. The highly paid defense Doctor who came to testify never said this blunt force wound was from sodium poisoning- she, instead, kept trying to confuse the jury by focusing on the sodium bleeds in other parts of Andrew's brain. From what I heard, the prosecutor figured this out instantly and pointed out to the jury what that defense expert was trying to do. The blunt force wound would only show up through an autopsy and was from someone violently hitting Andrew with a hard object. BTW, the medical examiner who testified for the State was the only one who autopsied Andrew and is highly respected. He has served as an ME in Miami and in Dallas, but came to Corpus Christi to be with his family.
Great job of distilling through the defense excuses. Everyone should read the Lost in Lima Ohio article. It is excellent.
Andrew Burd's festering staph wound to his arm would have been so painful. The ME looked at the wound under a microscope and found it was consistent with a burn. Why didn't Hannah Overton take Andrew to a Doctor. She would take her own biological children to a Doctor. The Free Hannah Overton and Larry Overton supporters need to understand the true facts in the case and should read the Lost in Lima Ohio article.

Andrew Burd, the real victim here, got tossed to the wayside by a psycho propaganda spreading church. Thank you for fearlessly defending a child victim. He dserves for everyone to know what Hannah Overton did to him. The last days of his life must have been unspeakable.
Little Andrew got tossed to the wayside in Hannah's quest to free herself from the consequences of her actions. I wonder what else she did to Andrew that we'll never know about. Thank you Stop Child Molesters for fighting for an abused little boy.
