Accused Child Rapist and Attempted Murderer Arrested in Memphis

Authorities say a man, who is accused of impregnating a 13 year-old girl and shooting a Memphis Firefighter, has been arrested.

According to the U.S. Marshalls Service, O’Neal Johnson was arrested in the 5200 block of Craigmont in Raleigh around 9:00 p.m., Thursday, September 11, 2008.

Police say Johnson, 30, was wanted after he was accused of getting a 13 year-old girl pregnant. Authorities also say Johnson is wanted for the attempted murder of a Memphis Firefighter. Investigators say the firefighter was at his part-time job at a laundry business when Johnson shot him, in November 2007.
