Pedophile will spend rest of life in prison

Convicted child abuser Anthony Edwin Marsh will spend the rest of his life in prison.

In May, a jury found Marsh abused five girls and one boy ages 4 to 14. Marsh forced his victims to perform sexual acts in exchange for food or treats, and watch pornography with him while he assaulted them. He also was convicted of having 1,900 images of child pornography on his computer.
Marsh, 67, was sentenced Thursday to multiple consecutive sentences for crimes Broomfield District Court Judge Chris Melonakis called “indescribably cruel.”

The Broomfield resident will serve three consecutive sentences of 24 years to life for sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust. Concurrent to those terms, he will serve two sentences of 24 years to life for sexual assault on a child with a pattern of abuse.

Marsh will begin those sentences only after he serves a 24-year-to-life sentence for inducement to child prostitution followed by a 12-year sentence for possession of child pornography.
